Partner Overview

The mission of the Anne Arundel County Mental Health Agency, Inc. (AACMHA) is to provide leadership and collaboration for the planning, monitoring, and managing of a comprehensive continuum of mental health care to eligible residents of all ages. AACMHA is part of a five-county program that provides mental health services in some of the fastest growing counties in Maryland: Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, Prince George’s, and St. Mary’s. AACMHA’s Executive Director, Frank Sullivan, heads the program, which oversees 6 different provider organizations and services both adults and children in the community. 

Communication and Coordination Challenges

AACMHA faced a multitude of challenges. The majority of services were completed in the community of different counties with only one central management team. Management also had to monitor that providers were adhering to contract requirements. They also needed a system to create an accurate fidelity scale report to award funding.

Credible Solution

Sullivan selected Credible because of the system’s ability to be used in the community as well as in the office. He explained that “trying to accomplish this in a paper-based world would be far too complex. Credible’s software eliminated paper and freed up resources for care and provider management.” Through Credible’s web-based system, multiple county managers are able to monitor progress remotely while experiencing minimal infrastructure costs and increased system usage and reliability.

Decreased Paperwork, Increased Productivity

AACMHA and other five-county program providers all have a mobile and community programs. Before implementing Credible, case managers would document client interaction on paper then enter the data into a computer back in the office at the end of the day. The process was inefficient and lead to lost or inaccurate documentation. Through Credible’s Mobile Module, documentation is completed in real-time, decreasing paper usage, lost visits, and administrative time. Credible assists organizations in focusing their technology to capture more revenues at the point of service - in the community or in a facility. By reducing the amount of time spent on paperwork, they have more time for additional improved consumer care and productivity.
